Planning Application Meeting 15th June

Please see below text from the letter we have received from Tim Slaney, Director of Planning at South Downs National Park Authority re the above application:

(England) Order 2015

Applicant: ICS Estates Ltd

Proposal: An outline planning application for the erection of up to 20 open market and 12 affordable dwellings with associated residential curtilages, parking and turning areas, the provision of a new vehicular access road, the provision of a new combined pedestrian/cycleway, the provision of a new footpath along part of the former Chichester/Midhurst railway line and the provision of a surface water detention basin

Location: Land South of Barlavington Way Midhurst West Sussex GU29 9TG

I am writing to advise that the planning application for the above site will be considered at a formal meeting of the South Downs National Park Planning Committee, which will be held at 10:00am on 15 June 2017 at Memorial Hall, South Downs Centre Midhurst GU29 9DH.

Please note that there is no public parking outside the Hall for attendees of these meetings.

All vehicles should be parked at the North Street, pay & display car park across the road from the South Downs Centre. Blue badge holders, please contact or call 0300 303 1053 to arrange parking outside the venue.

If you wish to register to speak on an application attached to a meeting agenda; you will need to email providing the following information between the date of publication and no later than 12 noon, 3 working days before the meeting. (if the meeting is on a Thursday the deadline would be 12 noon on the Monday)

• Your Name, Address and Telephone Number. An email address if available.

• The Planning Application number and details of the proposed development to which it refers or details of the other matters that you wish to speak about.

• Confirmation of whether you wish to speak in support or against an application or other matter.

• Confirmation of whether you wish to speak in support or against an application or other matter.

• Confirmation of whether you are representing yourself or anyone else.

• Confirmation that we can provide your details to other people in the event that there are more than the allocated number of potential speakers. This is in order that you can agree which people will speak.

A maximum of six people are invited to speak on each planning application or related matter, for example, three in support and three against. This number includes the applicants or agents speaking in their behalf (such as a local Parish, Town, District, Unitary or County Councillor).

Each speaker will be allowed up to three minutes to speak. All aspects of public speaking at SDNPA Planning Committee meetings are subject to the discretion of the Planning
